They have their own wines that aren’t James Harden related so yeah. I guess I am not being totally truthful with the name of this wine. Don’t drink alcohol if you’re pregnant or nursing. Don’t consume alcohol in the United States if you’re under 21 years old. Haven’t gotten to talking about it yet but you know the deal. Might be a good time to talk about the government warning which is most likely on the bottle. Wine can be as low as 4% and as high as 15%. This wine is rated at 13.5% alcohol by volume which is on the higher side. Looks like James here is trending on the fruity to peppery side of things. It could be anywhere from peppery to fruity to even leathery. It has a wide range of flavors which I guess depends on the climate and soil of where the grapes are grown. It is one of the most popular and common lines of wine out there. Quick recap on the whole Cabernet Sauvignon thing. Well, I do have a little experience with Cabernet Sauvignon with that Penguin wine I did ages ago. There should also be a bit of a peppery taste to it. It notes the taste as “Jammy and delicious” of blackberry and other berries. When smelling it, the site notes it should have a cherry, raspberry, oak, and vanilla scent. Dark red and purple can mesh together pretty well. they describe the color as a “Nice dark ruby red color with hues of purple.” I suppose one might see purple in it. It adds a bit of pop and I kind of dig it this time around. Usually I’m kind of put off by silly patterns, but they kind of work here. It also has a silly picture of Harden in pants that actually match the logo’s color scheme. The website has some information regarding this wine. If I had to wager, I’d say the price is mid to cheap due to it being linked to a big name basketball player. Not super aged so I’m assuming it is probably on the cheaper side of thing. This bottle is from 2021 and I’m pretty sure I did my notes for this in 2022. Richer in flavor I guess.Īnyway, James here has a relatively new company. I don’t know why, I just like darker stuff. That said, Cabernet Sauvignon is sort of dark so I’m typically cooler with that. Don’t typically care for wine much either as grape is not usually my choice of flavor. My brother gave me the rest of what he had here to try so, thanks! I don’t cover a ton of wines here since I’m far from an expert. He’s got a “California Red” in addition to this, but for the sake of this post, I’m just covering the Cabernet Sauvignon. I have to specify this is the Cabernet Sauvignon since his wine line has other uh…flavors too. Thankfully, he’s not in my division anymore and is playing for the Sixers now so I can say nice-ish things about him now. So, obviously this wine is linked to the basketball player James Harden who had tortured my Utah Jazz for years. In any case, basketball season is moving towards the playoffs so that works for this brand! I don’t really think much about Easter really. That’s a kind of wine holiday, right? I don’t know. Today I’m covering another wine since we’re close to Easter. Keeping my word and continuing on with writing posts here.
